Canton PeeWee Hockey - Cub Club
Cub Club schedule:
8:00 am - Saturdays - Appleton Arena
5:00 pm - Wednesdays - Canton Pavilion
EXCEPTION: Saturday, 12/31 will be at the Canton Pavilion at 8:00 am.
Our Cub Club program is for beginning skaters and is designed in compliance with USA Hockey's Initiation Program. The goal of Cub Club is to ensure that our kids first contact with skating is a safe and positive experience. Our initial emphasis will be on skating skills; stop, start, push, glide, forward, backward, knowledge and control of edges. This enables our kids to develop self-confidence, and experience a sense of personal achievement. These goals are achieved in an atmosphere of cooperation and fun.Equipment required:
- Certified hockey helmet with face mask (no bike helmets)
- Skates that fit properly and have been newly sharpened
- Mittens or Gloves
